Now, with the help of MembersFirst®, The Citrus Club is finally having an impact online with a complete website redesign that includes SEO-friendly pages and exciting new features to better engage and serve their membership.

MembersFirst®, Inc. and The Citrus Club set out with several key objectives for the project: create a new website with a distinctive look and feel, expand features like online tee times and social networking tools, and improve site rankings on search engines like Google and Yahoo. With the site's new design, Brianne Schuld, the Club's website and marketing coordinator, feels they've achieved a highly stylized and creative site design that captures the Club's unique mix of tradition, luxury, and environmental beauty. It's completely outside the box and very different from everyone else, which is exactly what we wanted.

In addition to the new look, Schuld worked with MembersFirst® to expand their site features including online tee times for all members, a popular photo gallery, and a redesigned e-mail template that has increased member engagement by 18%. MembersFirst has really helped me understand what we can do with our site, Schuld said. Even when I couldn't explain exactly what I wanted, they understood what I needed and made it happen.

The search engine optimization (SEO) efforts have also paid off, and the Club, once hidden on most search engines, now shows up consistently in top positions for many of its coveted keywords including, most importantly, "citrus club." The Club literally started from zero with a newer domain name and less than ten total backlinks, which is an important factor in ranking sites.
